Please Be Aware Of The Following Information.

 There Are Now Many Cheap,Imported (Mainly Chinese Branded) Lanterns Flooding the UK market and Auction Sites.

Some points to note are as listed below

• They May Not Be Fire Retardant.
• They May Use Thick Metal Hoops.
• They May Have Solid Wax Fuel Cells Which May Drip,And May Cause Fires.
• Some Types Even Need Assembly.
• They Are Not UK Trading Standards Compliant.
• They Will Not Have " Danger of suffocation to Babies/Children Etc" Warning Labels.

Firework Or Not ?

Although not strictly a firework,for safety reasons it should be treated as one.

( still 100% degradable,

There are various wildlife organisation and powerful lobbyists trying to get the wire lanterns taken off the market.

Safety Guidelines

1. Make sure that the wind is light or ideally a still night/day - 5 miles per hour or     below is suitable for launching our Sky Lanterns .

2. Please launch our Sky Lanterns in an open space if possible,away from any       trees, power cables or overhead telephone lines,and buildings. Do not use our     Sky Lanterns within 5 miles of an airport under any Circumstances.

3. If using them at the seaside (or near the sea) for a Party or Beach BBQ,please     notify the local Coastguard in that area ( Could be seen as a Distress Flare )

5. Take care to observe the direction of the breeze ( if any ) to avoid flying into         obstacles.

4. Please make sure that all spectators stand upwind of the people launching         your Sky Lanterns.

5. It is wise to have a bucket of water/sand close to hand in case of                         emergencies.

6.Our Sky Lanterns are not toys and should not be used by anyone under the        age of 16.

7. Be aware of your surroundings,are the fields/grass/hedges Etc,Tinder dry             because of a long dry spell ?,then use extreme caution.

8. Do not launch damaged Sky Lanterns ( although very small rips/tears/holes         can be repaired with ordinary household tape ).

9. Please do not use in Heavy rain ( very,very light rain is OK ) as Rice/Mulberry       paper gets heavy when wet and will not perform as expected.

10. Read and Reread our Safety Instructions on each pack before launching.

11. Used Sensibly you will have a Magical and Safe Launch with our Sky                   Lanterns.
